The counsel of the International Socrates Committee, who are representing leaders within the business, education and science international communities, have worked to establish EBA Awards as well respected international accolades.
For this year, the Socrates committee nominated Yangon University of Education to the ‘Best regional University, and the head of educational institution, the rector Dr. Aye Aye Myint, was presented as the ‘Best Manager of the Year’ in Science and education sphere and personal certificate. They recognized the successful work of Dr. Aye Aye Myint in professional, scientific and educational directions as well as high level of its alumni.
On December 20, 2016,the rector Dr. Aye Aye Myint accepted awards of “Best Regional University” for Yangon University of Education and “Best Manager of the year” in Science and Education Sphere.
The award presentation ceremony was taken place in the world science and education capital-Oxford, the UK. This function was a soleman part of the Summit of Leaders ‘Investment in Science and Education: Investment in Future’ (Oxford Town Hall, Oxford, UK).
